For real, there is nothing worse than that guy that doesn’t know how to talk about anything but the most obscure bands - and then hates on the ones that get popular. This blog is intended to be the anti-hipster. If a band that plays stadiums creates something that I think is awesome, it might end up on one of these playlists. Same with a band that is playing for ten people. There is talent everywhere. In my old age I have a new outlook on music - even if it is a genre that you proclaim to hate, there is someone out there doing it BETTER than everyone else. My goal from now on is to find those people/bands and create monthly playlists.

What makes me qualified to give any music advice? Probably nothing. I spent a lot of time in a van driving around the country. We played songs to absolute death, which made me pretty good at finding new songs. Now I do the same on my morning commute.

I’ll also include a short write up of each song because I like music history. So without further ado…..
